Small copper alloy Roman coin, possibly a nummus of the House of Theodosius, dating to AD 388-95), [VICTO]R?[IA AVGGG], [Victory advancing left], holding wrieath? [and palm]. Mint unclear. This is a very tentative identification, but the appearance of the metal is typical for a late Roman coin from Arles. The coin has a rusty red colour, with splotches of verdigris on both faces. One part of the edge is missing.
