A complete brooch in the shape of a scutum, pointed oval or eye, with a central circular protrusion, (diameter: 12mm) which has a second, smaller circular protrusion (diameter: 4mm) in the centre. It can be tentatively identified as Roman.
The back of the object is flat, with a hollow circle in the centre where the front of the brooch is raised. There is a hinged pin and a small, possibly damaged, catchplate.
The object is slightly worn and scratched, and has a silvery-grey patina, with some green colour showing through on the main face, smallest central protrusion and back pin.…

A complete cast copper-alloy very late Iron Age to mid-Roman unilobed strap-fitting or slide, c.50 BC - AD 200.
The fitting is formed of an oval 'eye' shape, with a raised circular dome in the centre, set into a raised 'eye' shaped border with raised pointed ends.
On the reverse of the fitting there is a rectangular sectioned bar through which the strap would slide. The slide is a dark green colour.

An incomplete, warped copper-alloy Colchester type brooch dated to the Late Iron age to Roman period (1st century AD.)
This brooch is extremely warped and worn. The brooch has a slim arched bow which is flattened at the end. There are no wings visible. The spring remains, with a pin in situ. The brooch is much corroded and no pattern or decoration can be seen. It is a dark-green colour.
