An incomplete copper alloy Roman disc brooch, dating to c. AD 100 - 250. The brooch comprises a sub-circular plate which has two concentric recessed circles creating cells for enamel on the front face and at the centre. The outer cell retains substantial degraded light green/blue enamel, the centre cell has traces of dark blue enamel.
