A medieval gold finger ring (c. AD 1400 – 1500). The band is flat with a rectangular cross section and has been bent with two sides flattened against each other. On the exterior is an incised blackletter inscription with the words alternating with sprigs of foliage and flowers. The outer edges of the band are decorated with a border containing pellets. An incomplete sub-rectangular strip of flat sheet Bronze Age gold (c. 2200 – 800 BC). The strip is slightly crumpled; it was originally folded up and has since been straightened out by the finder while cleaning. One end is complete, the other has been cut or broken off. A complete post medieval silver cufflink of the 'Crown and Heart' Form 1, Type B style dating to c. AD 1662 - 1714 (Lewis 2013). The front of the cufflink shows a flaming heart crossed by two arrows. The reverse has a central soldered wire loop and is filled with dried mud. The figuirine is simple in design with a slightly open inscised mouth and eyes which are shown by two oval incised lines. There are four grooves across the centre. Broadly sub-oval in plan with a convex form, the top and bottom have protruding circular knops, one is broken before the rivet and the other the rivet still remains.
