The outer edge carries a separately made copper alloy roller in which the externally made pin rests. The pin is wrapped around the bar and tapers into a point. It is rectangular sectioned. The extant piece comprises a small portion of the frame, now survived by a single prong projecting from the bar. The frame is plano-convex in section. The bar has a raised transverse collar. Only one of the forked spacers now survives.
