A post-medieval copper alloy uniface circular trade weight of Charles I or II (1625-1685). The obverse has a crowned C at 12 o'clock; a sword for the city of London at 1 o'clock, an uncertain motif at 7 o'clock; and a central point (possibly a lathe-centering point). The reverse has groups of grooved lines extending inwards from the edge (and being deepest close to the edge); these are possible adjustment grooves.
The trade weight measures 19.7mm in diameter, 3.2mm in thickness and weighs 6.20g (0.218 oz, 95.7 grains).
