An incomplete cast copper alloy single-looped buckle with an oval, lipped frame and an integral plate. The frame as an internally bevelled edge and an externally curved edge so that it is convex in profile and C-shaped in section. The plate is square in plan with three rivet holes, 2 mm in diameter, and one pin hole, 3 mm in diameter, with a corresponding narrowing on the rear of the buckle frame where the pin was looped around.
