An incomplete fragment from a cast copper alloy 'fob' seal of modern date probably later 18th or early 19th Century (1740-1850). The seal matrix is composite, being formed from an orange/brown glass intaglio set into a machine pressed oval body. The intaglio is well cut; the design consists of a man with a chariot and four horses, in the 'classical style' in line with the Georgian Classical Revival.
