The jetton has suffered a loss at its circumference. It measures 24 mm in diameter and weighs 1.37 g

There is a drilled depression in the centre of the obverse.

A Late medieval to Post-Medieval Copper alloy french Jetton, probably Tournai (late), dating to c.AD 1300-1550. Uncertain obverse, with a fictitious legend, reverse depicting a triple stranded cross flory with a quatrefoil at its centre and possibly within a tressure with elaborated cusps. cf. Mernick & Algar (2001) nos. 61-71, 84-97, 101-110, 140.
The jetton has been pierce off-centre from the reverse.

Crown type, with the obverse depicting a crown with three pierced trefoils on the band, with a pellet above the central one and pellets between the central and side fleurs. An incomplete Late Medieval Tournai (late) Shield of France modern type Jetton, probably dating to c. AD 1400-1500. Highly abraded and missing much of its original edge to a worn break. Obverse depicts a square topped shield with recurved sides containing three fleur-de-lis, reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleury within a quadrilobe. See Mernick and Algar (1991: 232-235) nos. 118-150.
Although the die axis cannot be measured, the reverse' cross is orientated at 45 degrees to the obverse.
