Uncertain obverse, with a fictitious legend, reverse depicting a triple stranded cross flory with a quatrefoil at its centre and possibly within a tressure with elaborated cusps. cf. Mernick & Algar (2001) nos. 61-71, 84-97, 101-110, 140. The jetton has been pierce off-centre from the reverse.

An incomplete Late Medieval Tournai (late) Shield of France modern type Jetton, probably dating to c. AD 1400-1500. Highly abraded and missing much of its original edge to a worn break. Obverse depicts a square topped shield with recurved sides containing three fleur-de-lis, reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleury within a quadrilobe. See Mernick and Algar (1991: 232-235) nos. 118-150. Although the die axis cannot be measured, the reverse' cross is orientated at 45 degrees to the obverse.
