It is decorated on one face with the combined coats of arms of England and Scotland in a shield with a crown above. This is flanked by a I and a 1/2. The combined coat of arms suggest a post Act of Union, 1707 date.

Late Medieval or early post Medieval lead alloy button, 1400-1700. diameter: 27 mm, thickness 19mm, weight: 25.57 g. The button is circular in form with a D shaped cross section. Its domed upper surface is decorated with a voided raised cross and a central semi-spherical boss. Each quarter has two raised arches. It has traces of iron loop in the centre of its underside. The button is similar BUC-415532 but without lead loop. The lack of parallels for an iron loop would suggest this is a repair.

It is in complete but mostof a flat circular plate survives, which has a smaller circular projection in its centre, c9mm in diameter. On this section are traces of a 'Tudor' rose motif. Given the design it could be a 17th century Colchester seal (see LON-5356D0), or be a more generic seal dating to the reigns of Charles II, James II, or William III, see BERK-0C6679 and SUSS-75A718.

It is decorated on both sides with a row of semi-spheres in a row surrounding the central hole which is 7mm in diamater. In between some of the semi-spheres are raised lines running outwards and terminating at the slightly raised lip running around the whorl. Its form matches Walton Rogers form C, which she dates to the medieval period.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 8 mm, diameter: 26 mm, weight: 25.85 g. The whorl is circular in form and biconical in cross section. It has a pronounced ridge on its outer edge and a central hole 8mm in diamter. It is decorated on both faces, one has a row of semi-spherical dots and the otehr a series of almost diagonally placed raised lines. The objects form matches Walter Rogers Type C, which she dates to the Medieval period.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 8 mm, diameter: 29 mm, internal diameter: 8 mm, weight: 41.14 grams. The whorl is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section, with a central circular hole 8mm in diameter. The whorl has a slight ridge on its outer edge, 3mm wide and different decoration on each face. One face has two rows of slightly raised circular motifs whilst the other has a series of short raised lines transversing it, with a solid raised line running through these around its circumference. The form fits Walton Rogers class C, which she dates to 1100-1500.

The object consists of two spheres attached by a short circular sectioned shaft. Dumb-bell shot is the most commonly found type of elongated shot.
