Medieval? copper alloy object, Length: 32 mm, width: 24 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 5.68 g. The object is sub-rectangular in form and cross section and consists of two layers of plate, possible a cornerof a larger object? held together with a central flat 'rivet' which is a small square plate, folded to form a shaft which is pushed through a slit in the object and has then had its triangular terminals folded over to hold in place.

This one has a form very similar to HESH-A5C584, tentatively identified as early Medieval. Other possibly related objects have been summarised in this record - BERK-5B5B94. It has one possibly intact straight edge, its others being damaged. It is decorated with a row? of Tudor rose like motifs, which perhaps suggest a date for it?

It has no intact edges. but does have decoration consisting of a border formed of double line of stamped rectangles? Early Medieval iron object, possibly a bill? length: 79 mm, width: 35 mm, thickness: 6.0 mm, weight: 26.71 grams The object is in poor condition and is currently rectangular in form and cross section, with one intact rounded side projection, 27 long, 18 wide and 4mm thick. The opposite side has the probable remains of a second projection. Kevin Leahy notes it may have been 'part of a bill as found in the Flixborough hoard or the improbably light 'plough share' in the Westley Waterless hoard.' Early medieval? iron object, Length: 112 mm, width: 53 mm, thickness: 5.0 mm, weight: 53.10 grams. The object is rectangular in cross section and oval (leaf shaped) in form. It has an integral oval hole, set in a rounded projection at one narrow end. The opposite end is rectangular in form and incpomplete. It is a possibility that the 'loop' has been formed by bending a linear projection over the plate, but x-rays revealed no eivdenece of this.
