Late medieval to early post medieval copper alloy stamp (1350-1650) Length: 41 mm, diameter: 15 mm, weight: 23.90 grams. The object consists of a rectangular cross sectioned tapering shaft, 6 x 7 mm wide, which sits below a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned 'head', 10 x 10 mm wide, which terminates in a rectangular cross sectioned, circular shaped die. The die is engraved with a muscular horned bull with his tail upright. Kevin Leahy has identified this as a leatehr workers stamp.
