Early medieval copper alloy dress fastener or possible pin head?, Length: 27 mm, width: 17 mm, thickness: 1 mm, weight: 0.80 g. The object is incomplete and fragile. It consists of the lower part of a probable triangular or oval flat plate whose lower, pointed edge houses a sub circular tapering shaft, missing its end. The left (as shown) surface of the plate shows part of a raised concentric ring pattern with a line running across it towards the base and to its lower right is a raised circle with cross and a possible further one above and right of this. Post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, dating to 1600-1700AD. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of an oval plate which has three integral, triangular projections housing circular fixing holes at cardinal points. At the fourth point the plate tapers into an integral rectangular shaped, folded plate which forms the hook. The surface is covered on one side in foliate engraving.
Length: 39 mm,width; 27 mm, thickness: 9.0 mm, weight: 8.12 g.

Post medieval copper alloy dress hook, 1500-1700.
The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It has an oval plate decorated with a double raised border and central foliate and scroll motif. Each side has a double scroll like projection and one end has a projecting fixing loop flanked by a small scroll. The other end has two fixing loops flanking a rectangular folded catch. The object is one of a pair forming a 'hook and eye' fastener and matches Read Class A, type 8, fig. 663-5
