It is decorated on one face with a circular tressured border containing a large cross flanked by a fluer de lis and a lion. The weight is probably for a Salut d'or of Henry VI of France (1423-7)

Post medieval Spur Ryal weight of James I, Length: 18 mm, width: 18 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 6.19 g. The coin weight is rectangular in form and cross section, with a bevelled edge. Obverse: shows crowned XVI.s with VI D below? Possible crowned I stamp in upper left corner. Reverse: circular motif that is now worn but that should show the sun surrounded by lions and fleur de lis. Ref. 'Lions, Ships and Angels', p. 17

Late Medieval copper alloy coin weight. The Object is rectangular in form and cross section and is decorated on one face with two facing busts in a circlular beaded border. These represent the monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. The lower face is worn but shows a hand motif, probably flanked by 8 / 0, this is usually for the date so would correspond to 1480. There should also be makers initials below, but these cannot be seen. Length: 16 mm, width: 16 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 6.13grams
