Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 50 mm, width: 34 mm, thickness 11 mm, weight: 50.63 g. The ampulla is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has a circular lower half which is decorated on one side with a raised circle which contains a raised six petalled flower motif. Above this it is rectangular in form and plain, except for scars on each side for its missing handles.

Medieval lead alloy bag shaped ampulla, Length: 45 mm, width: 37 mm, thickness: 11 mm, weight: 43.71 g The object has a sub rectangular form and a rectagular cross section. Its upper third is rectangular in form with a slit in its upper edge and a triangular shaped 'lug' at each side. Below this it is sub-circular in form. It is decorated with a large 'Maltese' cross sitting in a circlular recess on the body, and possibly a second smaller cross on the neck?.The other side is decorated with a Scutiform crest, containing three chevrons (with possible cross inside one?).

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 39 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 5 mm, weight: 21.84 g. The ampulla is incompleet and has no obvious decoration. It is 'bag' shaped having a rectangular shaped upper section sitting on a rounded section wit a sub rectangular cross section. The upper part is incomplete, damaged to remove the holy water it contained.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla fragment, Length: 25 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 5 mm, weight: 14.1 grams. The object is sub circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of the lower half of a 'bag' shaped ampulla and is decorated on one side with rows of ridges which splay outwards towards the base. These represent a scallop shell. Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 42 mm, width: 37 mm, thickness: 12 mm, weight: 53.91 grams. The object is intact and has a sub rectangular form and cross section. Its lower portin consists of a semi-circular 'bag' which is decorated on one side with radiating and widening raised lines running from top to bottom, to resemble a scallop sheel . On the other it has a double circular raised border which contains a raised double chevron with a small letter M underneath. The upper portion is rectangular in form and has two rounded projecting suspension lugs.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 40 mm, width: 35 mm, weight: 68.41 grams. The ampulla is intact and is has a sub circular form with a rectangular upper portiion and is sub oval in cross section. It has two V shaped integral lugs sitting just below its flat upper surface. One side of its rounded lower portion is decorated with radiating incised lines to create a scallop shell effect.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, dating to 1300-1500AD. The ampulla is largely intact and ihas a rectangular shaped neck above a circular shaped body. This is decorated on one side with a series of radiating ridges which are designed to represent a scallop shell. Length: 47 mm, width: 32 mm, thickness: 14.0 mm, weight: 46.93 g.
