The ampulla is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has a circular lower half which is decorated on one side with a raised circle which contains a raised six petalled flower motif. Above this it is rectangular in form and plain, except for scars on each side for its missing handles.

The object is sub circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section. It is in complete but mostof a flat circular plate survives, which has a smaller circular projection in its centre, c9mm in diameter. On this section are traces of a 'Tudor' rose motif. Given the design it could be a 17th century Colchester seal (see LON-5356D0), or be a more generic seal dating to the reigns of Charles II, James II, or William III, see BERK-0C6679 and SUSS-75A718.

The seal has a pointed oval form and a rectangular cross section. It has a flat reverse with no loop but a small depressed area that may have held one.
The matrix has a rather crude image of a bishop? with the head squashed into the point and very square body with feet protruding from the hem of his garment. The object has a sub rectangular form and a rectagular cross section. Its upper third is rectangular in form with a slit in its upper edge and a triangular shaped 'lug' at each side. Below this it is sub-circular in form. It is decorated with a large 'Maltese' cross sitting in a circlular recess on the body, and possibly a second smaller cross on the neck?.The other side is decorated with a Scutiform crest, containing three chevrons (with possible cross inside one?).

The object is circular in form, but slightly squashed, and sub rectangular in cross section with a central circular hole 8-10 mm in diameter.
The whorl has unusual decoration, having a slightly raised lip on the outer edge of each surface. Sitting within this is a series of raised open circles on both faces. The form matches Walton Rogers type B, dating it from 900-1200.
