The object consists of a circular flat plate which has a large central domed boss surrounded by 4 (1 missing) small spheres which have been rivetted in place. The objcet is heavily worn but has patches of thick gilding in places.

The coin weight is rectangular in form and cross section, with a bevelled edge.
Obverse: shows crowned XVI.s with VI D below? Possible crowned I stamp in upper left corner.
Reverse: circular motif that is now worn but that should show the sun surrounded by lions and fleur de lis.

The object is semi-circular in form and circuar in cross section, has an incised line on its outer surface, 6 to 7 mm from the upper edge. Between this and the edge there are four circular holes at cardinal points, for suspension. The irregular edge and surface suggest that it has been beaten from a sheet. It has a deliberate indentation in the centre of its base to allow the object to stand if needed. The object appears to be part of a balance scale and its heavily pitted and corroded green…

Late medieval copper alloy weight, 1400-1500. Thickness: 4 mm, diameter: 18 mm, weight: 5.58 g
The weight is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a raised upper border and is stamped with a crown and a possible second symbol on either side of a central circular recess. Biggs (p.48) notes 15th century weights which were just stamped with a crown and also comments that they are similiar to coin weights which are also stamped with a lis, used to weigh nobles and dating to the 1420s.

The brooch is oval in form with a rectangular cross section. It has a raised outer border with an internal central oval border, forming two recesses. The outer one has traces of blue enamel in patches. The brooch has damaged edges and the reverse houses the remains of a ctachplate and an incomplete pin loop, sitting at opposite edges.

The object is sub-circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a semi-circular cross sectioned shaft emerging from one edge which would have formed the hook. The circular area is incomplete as it is missing a rectangular loop and corresponding recess. The remaining circular area is decorated with a border of slightly raised spheres inside which is a female bust. The object is Read Class E, type 3.

Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, hinged brooch, Length: 25 mm, width: 23 mm, weight: 4.55 g.
The brooch has solid circular cross sectioned wings which are plain and house a recess for a hinged pin, now missing. The upper part of the bow rises sharply outwards from the wings, has a circular cross section and tapers to a point. It is decorated with a central raised plain ridge running its length.
