An incomplete Post-medieval cast copper alloy hooked mount used to suspend a sword scabbard from a baldric, dating from the 17th century. The main body of the mount is circular, domed and convex. At one end there is a moulded collar behind which is a rivet hole with part of the iron rivet still in situ. The surface of the dome is divided into three planes with two ridges radiating up from the collar like a simple scallop shell. There was once a knop on the upper end of the domed section which has broken off.

A cast copper alloy hooked mount from a sword belt, for suspending a sword from a baldrick, dating from the 17th century. The body of the mount is almost square, 22 mm by 20 mm, with a hollow back and a cast loop at the top with a circular rivet hole, 2 mm in diameter, and a small oval knop above. Below the central square section is a bifid transverse collar which then tapers into the hook, now incomplete and 6.7 mm long. On the back of the collar is a rivet, 5 mm in diameter, which may once have held a metal back plate over the hollow back.
