The object converges to a height of 23 mm, shaped similar to a cone. The weights condition is rather poor, with clear signs of corrosion and damage, loosing is shape and top as a result.

A copper alloy sawfish brooch, dating from the Roman period. The wings are cylindrical in section and contain an axis bar for a hinged pin. The decorative design of the wings are quite ornate, containing a semi-circular band design following the curvature of the wing, found on both wings in the centre. An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Lincolnshire slotted dolphin type with hinge mechanism, dating from the 1st to 2nd century AD. The head of the brooch consists of two circular wings. On the underside of the head, in the centre, is a slit where the pin would have sat. The bow arches up slightly before curving downward towards where the catchplate would have been if the brooch was complete. On the obverse side of the brooch contains two square-like slots which would have held enamelling.

A copper alloy Post-Medieval belt/strap mount, dating around the 15th to 16th centuries. The mount is shaped like a shield with a fleur-de-lys design at its apex and a large rounded knop at its foot. The centre of the shield bears the design of a waisted (belted) fleur in moulded relief. The obverse side is gilded, with patches of corrosion. On the reverse side is the remains of two integrally cast fixing studs or loop, which would of secured the mount to the strap.

A Medieval copper alloy circular coin weight, probably for a Noble (1412-1464). The obverse side depicts a design of a single masted clinker built ship (cog) facing left, with a lis above the fore castle and a lion passant guardant above the after castle. The design indicates it was for the noble. The reverse side is blank, as most weights tend to be. The side of the weight is slightly worn, especially around the 9 to 12 o'clock area.

An incomplete, copper alloy, Anglo-Saxon Cruciform brooch foot, dating from the 6th century AD. This type of brooch is very common compared to other early Anglo-Saxon brooches on the PAS database. The remaining 'foot' of this Cruciform brooch contains both the flat panel at the top and the terminal, which in this case is rather damaged. The flat panel contains linear lines going across the panel horizontally. The reverse of the flat panel are the remains of the catchplate. An incomplete copper alloy roman dolphin hinged brooch dating from around AD55 - AD100. The brooch is plain, though badly corroded hiding any possible decorations. The brooch is missing its catch plate and pin, with both of its wings cut short, possibly damaged. The style of the broochs bow is arched, imitating a dolphin, hence the name. The condition of the brooch is corroded, with signs of damage, as previously stated.

An incomplete copper alloy pair of 6th century Anglo-Saxon tweezers. Only one arm of the tweezers remains, with the break at the suspension loop, which is still visible. An incomplete Bronze Age copper alloy socketed spear, dating from the mid/late Bronze Age period. The spear is very worn, and would probably have been broader. The tip of the spear is blunt, as well as the blades. The blade wings are abraded and irregular, with the socket being broken, with small pieces of wood still inside. The damage to the socket may have occured before post-deposition, possibly from the result of action of some sort.

A Medieval copper alloy, incomplete purse frame, dating circa AD1400- 1500. The frame is made of a curved strip of copper alloy which is right-angled in section. One of the sides contains a row of circular holes, while the other is decorated with a series of incised crosses, showing signs of inlaid niello. The condition of the bar is corroded.

A copper alloy, incomplete Roman T-shaped brooch. The brooch head has cylindrical wings, both of them have rather worn ends. The middle of the head it open, with signs of a bar for a hinged pin. Any decorations on the wings are illegible, due to corrosion. The bow drops 90 degrees vertically from the head, giving it the T-shaped profile. The pin and catch plate are both missing from this particular brooch.

A copper alloy, Roman hinged dolphin brooch. The wings are cylindrical, containing bar for the hinged pin. The brooch is incomplete, with only half of the pin missing. Both wings show signs of decoration, with a incised linear design around the wings end. The bow shape is has a dolphin profile, hence its name. The other end of the bow contains a worn catch plate for the pin. The condition of the fine, but has extensive corrosion.

A copper alloy, Roman Polden Hill brooch, with Celtic decoration and signs of silvering. The brooch is incomplete, missing half of its spring and it pin. The bow is complete, comprising a winged top which has a bilateral spring mounted on an axis bar whose ends are housed in pierced plates at the ends of the wings, the chord being secured by a pierced crest on the head. A copper-alloy buckle and pin dating from the medieval period. The buckle is D-shaped. Obverse: rounded, but broadens out at the head, with incisions for the pin. The reverse side is flat. The pin is plain and looped around the bin bar. The buckles condition is corroded.

An incomplete copper-alloy padlock, from the post-medieval period. The bar itself is missing, and the entire padlock is very corroded. The padlocks shape is circular, with two lugs at the top. These lugs would of originally held the bar. The corrosion is heavily present around the area of the lugs, suggesting the bar was made of iron. A rectangular plate is present on one side of the padlock, positioned vertically containing a linear design.
