A copper alloy button, dating from the post medieval period. This particular button is rather corroded, causing the button to become worn, this has lead to straight sides, instead of its usual distinictive circular shape. The buttons obverse side has a plain checker pattern design, with the reverse side containing what remains of the buttons loop, which has mostly gone.

A copper alloy, dolphin type, Roman brooch. This particular brooch has the distinguishable curved stem, giving it the name dolphin. At one end, there is two wings, one side curvular facing the stems arch, with the reverse side being flat. The condition of the brooch is corroded, with one wing being bent.

A copper alloy, medieval strap end, of a tongue-shaped form. This particular strap end would of had a scalloped attachment edge, round grooved aperture and two rivets, tapering sides on a leather strap, though is missing some of these vital components. The condition of the strap end is rather poor, with bent ends and missing elements, but with one rivet still inplace. Reference: Egan, G. & Pritchard, F. (2002). Dress accessories 1150-1450. An incomplete copper alloy Dolphin brooch, dating from the Roman period. The brooch is missing one of its semi-cylindrical wings and its spring and pin as well. The distinct shape of this particular brooch distinguishes itself as a dolphin type brooch, due to the shape of the brooches bowhead being arched in profile at roughly 90 degress angle and then protrudes downwards. A copper alloy, incomplete scissors dating from around the post-medieval period. At one end of the scissors is the finger ring, then there joint to connect the ring to the scissor blade, which is mostly missing. The inner side of the scissor blade has a small circular slot, probably to insert the pin in to secure both blades together. The outer side of the scissors show no visible sign of decoration, either due to the corrosion or the design is plain. The condition of the scissors is corroded in some areas and worn in others.

A copper alloy casket key, dating from around AD1100-1500. The end of the key is missing, though it probably would of been ring-shaped. The stem is of flattened-oval section, but is missing its tapered pointed tip which projects beyond the end of the locking plate. The plate is rectangular and has a wide cleft in the leading edge. The condition of the key is rather worn, with signs of corrsion.

A medieval copper alloy forked spacer from a composite strap end. The main shape of the strap fitting is circular, with a large central hole. At one end there is a decorative circular end, almost like a crown, though corrsion and wear has made it difficult to interpret. The opposite end has the 'forked' like ends, one of the half missing, where the leather would have been attached. The strap fitting is incomplete, with obvious signs of corrsion.

Am early Anglo-Saxon copper alloy sleeve clasp, dating from the 6th century AD, of Hines form B18b. It is rectangular, with two protruding rounded lugs on one of its longer sides (the rear edge). In front of these are four roundels, flat sub-circular elements joined to each other at their widest points to produce three other perforations between the roundels and the bar.
