A silver, post-medieval, sixpence coin, dating from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (exact date of coin:1575). Obverse: bust facing left of Elizabeth, with rose behind her head. Inscription: ELIZABE[...] ANG FRA ET H[..] RE[...]. Reverse: long cross fourchee over shield. Shield contains the English lions and fleur-de-lis of France. Date of production above shield (1575). Inscription: POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV.

A silver sixpence coin, dating to 1571, during the reign of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). This type of coin is from the second issue. The condition of the coin is worn, with the obverse side being illegible. The reverse side contains Elizabeth I coat of arms, with year it was minted at the top (minted: London).

A silver, sixpence, dating from around 1567, during the reign of Elizabeth I. Obv: bust left of Elizabeth I, with a rose behind her head. Inscription: ELIZABETH D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God Queen of England, France and Ireland). Rev: a shield containing the coat of arms of Elizabeth, and the inscription: POSUI DEUM ADIVITOREM MEUM (I have made God my helper). The coin itself is in reasonalbe good condition, though it is bent through the middle. A little bit of worn on the Obverse side, mainly the bust of Elizabeth I, though the inscriptions on both sides…
