Medieval copper alloy ewer spout, dating to the 15th century. The spout quickly tapers to become tubular with a moulded dogs head decoration on the spout terminal. The dog has upright rectangular slightly fluted ears, with a circular spout protruding from its open mouth. The ewer is slightly worn with the very tip of the pointed end of the spout missing, otherwise it is in good condition. This is a simple example of a well-known 15th century type; it would originally have been attached to a pedestal-base ewer. A similar example can be seen in the databse: GLO-F75E24

VIRTVS ROMANORVM reverse type, depicting Roma seated holding Victory in right hand and spear in left hand. DN HONOR[ ] inscribed on the obverse. Inscriptions on the obverse and reverse are partial owing to the clipping, otherwise the coin is well preserved.

A complete copper alloy three-dimensional figurine in the shape of a bird, possibly a raven or crow. It has a loop and may be a mount, perhaps from a vessel; it may date to the Roman period (c. An unidentified lead tube which is possibly Post Medieval to Modern in date (c. AD 1500 - 1900). A slightly tapering lead tube with six holes along the tube opposite each other. The tube is flared at the narrow end and it is partially closed at the wider end. The holes at the narrow end are a little off-set from the other four holes. An incomplete copper-alloy ansate brooch of Early Medieval date (c. AD 700-900).About half of the bow and the foot survive; the break is old. The bow is steeply curved and slightly faceted on the front, with a transverse rib at the centre of the bow and the break just beyond this. There is another transverse rib at the junction of bow and foot and a third at the end of the foot. In between are undecorated rectangular panels.
