A fragment of a copper alloy vessel dating to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1000-1700). The fragment is part of the leg of a cooking vessel such as a small cauldron. The pot leg is sub-triangular in cross-section, with a slightly concave inner surface. The leg is rounded and flares into a hoof-like foot with three toes. The base of the foot is flat. The metal is very uneven and dark to mid-green in colour, with patches of light grey. The object comprises the bowl of the spoon, which has a pointed oval shape characteristic of later spoons.
