Post medieval or modern copper-alloy signet ring with shield-shaped bezel, decorated shoulders and plain hoop. The hoop is D-shaped in cross section. The ring has thick, wide shoulders, supporting a flat, shield-shaped bezel. The bezel has a pointed base, incurved long edges and a top edge with two incurved part, reaching a point at the centre. This shield shape suggests an 18th or 19th century date. The ring is intact but is in poor condition and its surface is very pitted. Massive terret ring made from cast cu-alloy, with an incomplete projection of a twin spur (lipped projection) within the ring. It would also have had a strap bar concealed at the base. Most known examples come from northern England and Scotland with an emphasis in Aberdeenshire. There are also examples from North Wales. It's very close to an example from Chesters, Northumberland in Jope 2000, 309, 291e and MacGregor 1976, 113. Generally dating from late 1st-mid 3rd century AD. A pressed copper-alloy sheet which is a component of an incomplete powder flask. The object probably equates to one half of a powder flask. The object is roughly pear shaped with a flat top at its narrowest point, and has a piercing at its narrow end. The date is probably ealry to late post medieval, however the lack of decoration makes this object problematic to date. The object is 71.38mm at its widest, 155.15 long, and 0.93mm thick.

A cast copper-alloy Post Medieval cup weight, 28.84mm in diameter and weighing 26.72g. It is not possible to see if there are any markings on the inside bottom of the cup due to corrosion and/or extant residue. A copper-alloy spectacle buckle, with pin. The frame has two oval loops which are convex in cross-section. one end has an incised notch which serves as a pin rest. The ends of each buckle are pointed. The strap bar has a triangular cross section. The frame features a knopps of each side of the projecting strap bar. Complete copper-alloy belt and buckle style finger ring of post-medieval date (c. 1600 - 1800 AD). The ring is of simple design: a wide and flat band with a moulded bezel in the shape of a D-shaped buckle. The band has three dots, which presumably represent belt holes. the middle hole is not evenly spaced with the first and last dots. The inner face of the band is flat while the outer face is slightly convex, giving the finger ring a D-shaped section. There is no inscription. An incomplete cast copper-alloy cup-headed stud inlaid with green enamel. Sally Worrell has comented that such studs are late Iron Age or Early Roman, usually with either a blue or red enamel (see FAKL-FCD5C7). This example has a green enamel with no traces of blue or red. The head is cup-shaped and is roughly circular in plan. The diameter of the head is 14.44mm and the cup has a thickness of 5.57mm. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval buckle that conforms well to a Meols type 10 c.AD 1350 - 1400. The pin is missing, leaving just the frame. The buckle is a single looped, oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edges. Two prominent knops flank two grooves on the outer edge of the loop which act as rests for the pin. The buckle weighs 4.15g; is 20.27mm deep and 26.09mm wide.

From the rounded top the object tapers in and out again to form a 'waist', with a step between the top and the 'waist'. A complete copper-alloy medieval (1200-1400) harness pendant. The object is square in plan - 20.59mm x 20.89mm - with an integral elongated lug, which is 9.36mm long, protruding from the centre of the upper edge. A fragment of a copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c. AD 75 - 175. The head is ovate with a double lug hinge mechanism to the reverse. The pin no longer remains. A D-sectioned bow extends from the front of the head but is much truncateed. The patina is a dark green. Similar examples are illustrated in Hattatt, p.327, fig.186 and are dated to circa AD 75 - 175.

Head of a copper alloy 8th- or 9th-century Anglo-Saxon disc-headed pin, probably part of a triple linked pin set. The head and part of the shaft survive in fairly good condition.
