Revesby, Lincolnshire A hoard of c. 70 Roman bronze coins. Initial identification suggests a deposition date after the mid-fourth century. The coins (Eleanor Ghey) A total of 67 coins and 2 unidentified metallic fragments were submitted for examination as potential Treasure. The assemblage is wide-ranging in date and as there was no container and no additional information on the distribution of the finds was provided, the group is assumed to contain a hoard of 55 nummi with a tpq of AD 327-8 alongside other stray coins from the area, including two first century copper a…
