An incomplete cast copper-alloy cup-headed stud inlaid with green enamel. Sally Worrell has comented that such studs are late Iron Age or Early Roman, usually with either a blue or red enamel (see FAKL-FCD5C7). This example has a green enamel with no traces of blue or red. The head is cup-shaped and is roughly circular in plan. The diameter of the head is 14.44mm and the cup has a thickness of 5.57mm. Fragment of a copper alloy simple terret ring dating to the Late Iron Age/Early Roman period (AD 43 -150). The curved fragment has broadly circular section which expands in diameter from one end to the other from a diameter of 7.20mm to 10.11mm. At each end there is a circular collar-formed terminal. At the small diameter end the collar has a diameter of 8.45mm, while at the large diameter end the collar is 12.17mm. A copper alloy late-Iron Age to Roman (c.100 BC-AD c.200) end-looped cosmetic pestle ('woad grinder') from a cosmetic set. The pestle terminates at one end with a coiled loop, with a clear seam where the coil rejoins the shaft.. The shaft is broadly rectangular in section with rounded edges. A copper alloy massive lipped terret ring of late iron age to early Roman date AD50 - AD200. It has an incomplete projection of a twin spur (lipped projection) within the ring. It would also have had a strap bar concealed at the base. Most known examples come from northern England and Scotland with an emphasis in Aberdeenshire. There are also examples from North Wales. A fragment of a copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. The terret is a 'simple' type. All that remains is one section of the loop with a collar, and a small section of the sub oval strap bar.  The metal has a light green patina and is worn.
