Description: A complete gold finger ring, of 19th century date. The hoop of the ring has a twisted rope design around the entire diameter on its exterior face. The inside face of the hoop is plain, with no hallmarks. This design transitions directly into the bezel of the ring, which is a lozenge shape, into which a red stone is set into a quatrefoil opening. The bezel is a box design with chamfered edges.
