An unknown object of unknown date and function. The object is a bow of copper alloy that is ovoid in section. At the foot the face appears machined, however the marks could be from casting. The 'face' of the object is trapezoidal and has an irregular shape with a possible zoomorphic shape - possibly a lion. Above this is a small suspension loop.

A Post-Medieval small silver spoon dating from circa AD 1750-1800. The bowl is oval but mishapen. The handle is flat and tapers outwards from the bowl. There is a maker's mark 'TN' half way up the handle. The object is delicate and could be part of a child's toy set.
The maker's mark is possibley of Thomas Northcote who is noted as a London Spoon Maker, active in the late 18th C. See Pickford, I., (ed), Jackson's Hallmarks Antique Collectors Club, page 78. This dates the spoon to being less than 300 years old and thus does not qualify …

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy sword pommel, c. 1250-1400 AD,
The pommel is comprised of five splayed lobes which ascend in height from either side towards a central larger and taller lobe, creating a symmetrical effect. The base is curved with a hollow central slot which gives way into a hollow central tube. the top of the central lobe has broken off. The artefact has a greenish/brown corrosion and some light abrasion and chipping, likely as a result of post-depositional factors. A fragment of a copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. The terret is a 'simple' type. All that remains is one section of the loop with a collar, and a small section of the sub oval strap bar.
The metal has a light green patina and is worn. Weight 15.92g, Length 42.77mm, width of loop is 8.55mm and the collar is 12.18mm in diameter.
