Massive terret ring made from cast cu-alloy, with an incomplete projection of a twin spur (lipped projection) within the ring. It would also have had a strap bar concealed at the base. Most known examples come from northern England and Scotland with an emphasis in Aberdeenshire. There are also examples from North Wales.
