A copper alloy flanged axehead of Early Middle Bronze Age date of later short-flanged axe of Type Ulcrome. The axehead dates to c. Acton Park II / Taunton phase of early MBA which corresponds to Needham typology date is c. 1600-1300 BC. The blade of the palstave is a splayed/crescent-shaped, with convex expanding sides, and a convex cutting edge, which is damaged. A complete, copper alloy, Later Short Flanged axehead of the Lisset Type, dating to the middle Bronze Age, BC 1300-1200. A probable type Lissett metalworking phase (Schmidt and Burgess, 1981,100; plate 48, numbers 616-620).The axe is subrectangular, with a square butt which has been damaged. An incomplete copper alloy (bronze) probable socketed axehead or chisel fragment, of Late Bronze Age dating (c. 950 BC to c. 750 BC). The expanded blade has a curved convex (crescent shaped) cutting edge which is incomplete. The sides do not appear to be faceted and no ribs are present on either the front or back of the axehead fragment. The blade shows signs of wear to the edge, suggesting that this miniature axehead was a tool and not a small votive offering. The artefact is the blade of the axe and consists of a broadly curved cutting edge with sides that flare out to reveal a hollow interior cavity. The artefact is sub-trapezoidal in plan. Head of a copper alloy 8th- or 9th-century Anglo-Saxon disc-headed pin, probably part of a triple linked pin set. The head and part of the shaft survive in fairly good condition. The head is circular and flat with decoration on one face, and has two holes, one on each side at 90 degrees between the top of the circle and the drop of the shaft. An incomplete cast copper-alloy cup-headed stud inlaid with green enamel. Sally Worrell has comented that such studs are late Iron Age or Early Roman, usually with either a blue or red enamel (see FAKL-FCD5C7). This example has a green enamel with no traces of blue or red. The head is cup-shaped and is roughly circular in plan. The diameter of the head is 14.44mm and the cup has a thickness of 5.57mm. A copper alloy massive lipped terret ring of late iron age to early Roman date AD50 - AD200. It has an incomplete projection of a twin spur (lipped projection) within the ring. It would also have had a strap bar concealed at the base. Most known examples come from northern England and Scotland with an emphasis in Aberdeenshire. There are also examples from North Wales. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval buckle that conforms well to a Meols type 10 c.AD 1350 - 1400. The pin is missing, leaving just the frame. The buckle is a single looped, oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edges. Two prominent knops flank two grooves on the outer edge of the loop which act as rests for the pin. The buckle weighs 4.15g; is 20.27mm deep and 26.09mm wide.
