A fragment (approximately one third) of a silver penny of Edward the Confessor (1042-66), 'Expanding Cross', light coinage (North 822), moneyer: Authgrimr (Othgrim; OÐGRIM), mint: Lincoln. Ref: North 1994: 180. The damage to the coin appears to have occurred post deposition as the breaks are not as clean as might be expected from a deliberate cut.

Description: Silver band-shaped finger-ring, with a large flat ovoid bezel, continuing as a tapering flat on either side of the centre, reducing to narrow, round wires at either end. These are looped around each other in short spirals to close the ring, and would originally have given some adjustability of size. A complete silver short-cross penny of Richard I. There are 7 pearls to the crown and the letter N is wide, the beard is made up of small pellets. There are two un-pelleted curls on the L and two or three on the R. Based on this the coin belongs to Richard I; North class 3ab2 or class 4a. The busts on these coins can be either large, small, wide or thin. Date is c.1190-1200. Moneyer and mint are WILLELM of London, though WILLELM can also be spelt as WILLEM on these coins due to the space taken up by the enlarged letter N and A. The coin has a weight of 1.04g and a diameter of 17.74mm

Description: Incomplete silver annular brooch of the Medieval period (1350-1400). The subcircular frame has a flattened, rectangular cross-section. The frame is undecorated on the reverse. The front is inscribed in Lombardic capitals reading: IESVS NAZAREN[VS]. The inscription starts and ends at the pin constriction. The pin has a D-shaped cross-section, with an integral cross-bar that divides the tapering pin from the straight-sided hook for attaching to the frame. A complete but broken silver finger ring. The ring was first suspected to be Roman or early Medieval, from photographs only. The shoulder decoration certainly has some similarity to early Medieval zoomorphic decoration. However, on visual inspection and with reference to BM curators, the ring was ascribed a modern date,  Not Treasure, returned to finder

A complete silver gilt ball-headed dress pin dating to the early post-medieval period, c. AD 1500-1600. The head is spherical, divided into two by a plain applied medial band of silver. The head is decorated with eight large hemispherical knops (four on each side of the band). Each knop is surrounded by a silver filigree complete ring.
