A complete copper alloy Toggle of Iron Age to Roman date (200 BC-AD 150). The object is sub-ovate in form, with upturned rounded terminals, a convex upper surface with two circular knops, one on either side of the upper frame. The upper portion between the knops is steeply convex. The middle section of the frame has an ovate aperture with slightly upturned upper ends. The lower frame is D shaped in section with an outer linear boarder which respects the form of the lower frame.
