An incomplete copper alloy post medieval crotal bell dating to the 16th to mid 17th century. The bell has a fragment missing at the base of the lower hemisphere, the pea is missing.
The bell is spherical with a rectangular suspension loop at the top. In the top half of the sphere, a circular perforation has been drilled to form the loop. Around the circumference, there is a raised ridge. The lower half of the bell has a long straight opening ending in a circular hole at each end, each just below the raised circumferential ridge.
