An incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch of the continental type dating to c. AD 100 - 250. The majority of the pin, some of the decoration and possibly some of the catchplate are missing. It measures 34.47mm in length and weighs 4.73g. The plate consists of a 3 concave circlular platforms layered upon the other, biggest as the base and descreasing in size with each layer forming a pronounced roundel. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch, of the bottom section of the bow and catchplate. It measures 45.96mm in length and weighs 3.34 grams. The bow is incomplete, the surviving section is broadly rectangular in plan before tapering to the foot. The top part of the bow is decorated with a central vertical rib flanked by two vertical grooves. Below is a further horizontal groove and a horizontal rib. An incomplete copper alloy Roman Colchester-derivative with double-pierced lug brooch dating to the period c. AD 43 - 100. The pin is missing the end so no longer reaches catchplate. The brooch measures 48.86mm in length, 19.94mm maximum width, 1.49mm minimum width and weighs 7.14g. An incomplete copper alloy Roman knee brooch of the tubular headed type dating to c. AD 150 - 250. The spring mechanism, wings, upper bow and horizontal catchplate are missing. It measures 24.76mm in length and weighs 3.66g. The bow extends from the break in an accentuated curve, the upper half of the bow is missing. It is rectangular in section with width 10.64mm and thickness 2.11mm. the lower section of the bow survives and tapers from a horizontal ridge to the projecting foot.
