An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle dating to the period AD c. 1500-1650. The buckle has oval loops similar in size and a concave frame. The strap bar ends are rectangular. There is no decoration. The pin is mising. The buckle measure 30.31mm in length, 33.52mm in width, 2.7mm in thick and weights 5.3g. A similar buckle is published in Whitehead 2003, p. 56, no. 322.

A complete copper alloy post-medieval (AD c.1500-c.1550) hooked clasp of one piece. The clasp falls into Read's Class E, Type 3: circular single sharp-hooked clasps. A similar hooked clasp can be found in Read, 2008, Hooked-Clasps & Eyes, p.91, no.319. Overall, it measures 33.55mm long, 13.76mm wide and 1.89mm thick. It weighs 1.96g. The clasp was cast in one piece and consists of a trapezoidal loop, a central circular plate and a hook. The central plate has a central solid-domed boss inscribed with the black-letter sacred monogram IHS all within a cabled border. The hook is 13.19m…
