A complete copper alloy post-medieval (AD c.1500-c.1550) hooked clasp of one piece. The clasp falls into Read's Class E, Type 3: circular single sharp-hooked clasps. A similar hooked clasp can be found in Read, 2008, Hooked-Clasps & Eyes, p.91, no.319. Overall, it measures 33.55mm long, 13.76mm wide and 1.89mm thick. It weighs 1.96g. The clasp was cast in one piece and consists of a trapezoidal loop, a central circular plate and a hook. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch, of the bottom section of the bow and catchplate. It measures 45.96mm in length and weighs 3.34 grams. The bow is incomplete, the surviving section is broadly rectangular in plan before tapering to the foot. It measures 24.76mm in length and weighs 3.66g. The bow extends from the break in an accentuated curve, the upper half of the bow is missing.
