A complete copper alloy post medieval crotal bell dating to the 16th to mid 17th century. The bell is complete and the pea survives. The bell is spherical with a rectangular suspension loop at the top. In the top half of the sphere, a circular hole has been cut or cast on either side of the loop. Around the circumference, there is a raised ridge. The lower half of the bell has a long straight opening ending in a circular hole at each end, each just below the raised circumferential ridge.
