A complete silver modern needle holder, dating to the 19th century AD. The needle holder would have originally been cylindrical in shape, with a wider rounded end, the sides of the object have been pressed together. Across the surface the holder has been decorated with an incised foliate design, this is in long rectangular panels divided by a triangular impressed border. A complete silver modern finger ring, dating to after AD 1948. The coin is made out of a silver two shilling of George VI (AD 1936-52). On the inside the inscription of the coin is visible: TWO SHILLINGS 1948// FID. DEF + IND IMP. The second inscription sits at 180 degrees to the other. There is no decoration on the outside of the ring. The ring is D shaped in cross section, and is a silver grey colour. It measures 23.1mm in diameter, 6.0mm in width and weighs 5.06g.

An incomplete lead Russian bag seal, dating to c. AD 1890s. The seal is oval in shape, and missing part of one edge with a worn break. On one side the inscription reads NE/ PF12/ 189[...] . The opposite side reads AA/EMAP/THHO/61. Running through the seal from one edge to another is a void for attachment. The seal is a brown white colour, and measures 22.7mm in length, 20.3mm in width and weighs 10.70g.

A post medieval to modern silver ferrule, probably dating to the 19th century AD. The object consists of groups of six strands of silver wire interwoven to create a rectangular ferrule. The shorter edges are hollow, and the inside core is probably copper alloy. From one of the shorter edges projects a sharp copper alloy point, this would have attached the ferrule originally. The ferrule is a grey silver colour, it has been previously damaged and slightly distorted out of shape.  Similar ferrules on the database are DENO-F7EC2C and KENT-A512A4

A possible fragment of a post medieval to modern lead toy. The fragment is a long oval shape, and slightly curves at the terminal end, which is rounded. At the opposite end there is a worn break. There are incised lines running from the break to the terminal end. The fragment resembles a horse's tail, and is possibly from the lead toy. The fragment is a dark grey colour with yellow white patches. It measures 20.4mm in length, 7.2mm in maximum width and weighs 3.47g.  A similar record on the database is: NLM-A77E1E

A silver post medieval to modern cufflink, dating to c.19th-20th century AD. The cufflink is oval in shape, with a rounded moss agate stone set within the silver fitting. The stone is a clear orange colour, with patches of brown moss like inclusions. The silver fitting has a border of repeated semi circles running around the edge. An incomplete post medieval to modern dental plate dating from c. AD 1800 - 1850. The object is the upper denture. The outer part is made of ivory most likely from a single block of hippo or walrus ivory, and would have been carved by hand. This uses the curve of the tusk to fit the curve of the mouth. The front six teeth have retained the enamel from the tusk to give the effect of the surface of a tooth. These are white in colour, and resemble real teeth, with the tusk surrounding it carved down to a brown layer to give the appearance of gums. The surface of this is rough. There is a…

An incomplete modern ceramic tobacco pipe from the Mahsikulumbwe tribe in Zambia, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. The pipe is zoomorphic, possibly representing an antelope or buffalo, with a bowl on its back. The head of the animal has a rounded snout with roughly incised nostrils and a diagonal straight line for the mouth. A modern copper alloy military badge, dating from c. 1881 - 1966 AD, of the Middlesex regiment. The circular badge is an openwork design, with three feather plumes and crown at the top of the central bar, either side a scroll attaching to the circular frame. Below this on the central bar is another crown, followed by a spiral design, with a curved scroll running across the base of the badge. On this is 'ALBUHERA' in raised letters. A complete silver twisted wire ear or finger ring, most likely to be modern. The hoop consists of two pieces of wire that are looped round beside each other, the hoop has been misshaped and is now oval. The bezel consists of the two pieces of wire twisted round the hoop to create two knots. Between the knots the two pieces of wire are flat. The ring measures 15.7mm in length, 12.4mm in width, and weighs 0.78g. The ring is similar to KENT-473EF3, where it is suggested that the twisted wire bezel is machine made.
