A copper-alloy Roman quadrans of Trajan (AD 98-117), dating to the period c.AD 98-117 (Reece period 5). S C reverse type depicting a club. Mint of Rome. As RIC II, p. 293, no. 699; Woytek, 2010: pp. 486-487, no. 603b-1. Quadrantes are rarely found in Britain. There were not officially issued in the Province and probably arrived in private purses.

A cast copper-alloy phallic harness pendant of Roman date (c. AD 43-410). The shaft is oval in section and widens towards a pointed tip that has a prominent and projecting pointed semi-conical head. An incised groove separates the head from the shaft of the phallus. On the underside of the phallus, a central ridge runs from the head to the base, where it forms a rib separating two hemispherical testicles. An incomplete lead alloy medieval pilgrim badge in the shape of a wheel, probably representing St Catherine. Four spokes radiate from a central hub. The rim is decorated on both sides with 12 pellets on each side. The edges are bevelled and the spokes have vertical grooves and a ridge on both sides. Overall, the diameter is 31.52mm, it is 3.83mm thick and weighs 11.01g. A similar wheel-shaped badge is descibed in record LON-6FABC6, in that case, the wheel had six spokes.

An incoplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type (AD c.75-c.175). Only the head, bow and both wings are preserved. The bow is broadly D-shaped in cross section towards the head and oval in cross section towards the foot. The bow head is hump-like, and angular (comma shaped) in profile, with semi-cylindrical wings projecting from either side at the top. A rearward facing hook is present on the head of the bow. A cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch with a flat and plain edge dating from c.80 AD to c.250 AD. The brooch is circular in plan and displays a six-pointed star or 'sunburst' pattern. The inside of the star is decorated with red enamel, while the outer field is decorated with black enamel. The surface of the brooch has been silvered or tinted. The reverse of the brooch is plain and undecorated but corroded and retains the lug for the spring. The spring remains as well as the pin which is bent. A complete silver Roman finger ring which is sub-oval in plan, has a hoop of D-shaped cross section, smoothly tapering shoulders and a flattened bezel. It has an oval setting, centrally located with an engraved intaglio of red jasper or glass. The intaglio is engraved with a wheat ear, a symbol which is associated with Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, fertility, rain, crops and motherly relations. If this is correct, only Officina P is recorded in RIC, making this a new variety.
