A fragment of a lead alloy post-medieval whistle (c.AD 1750-1850), consisting of one end and the attachment loop. The fragment is broadly bell-shaped and has an integral cast loop projecting from the top with a circular drilled hole. At the opposite end is raised ridge around the rim. The decoration consists of two round incised lines at the bottom of loop and two raised opposed vertical lines running from the loop to the rim. A Medieval lead spindle whorl, probably dating to AD c.1100-1500. In plan the spindle whorl is circular and in profile is biconical. There is a central circular perforation which has an internal diameter of 11.44 mm. One face is undecorated and the other one is decorated with oblique lines creating triangular enclosures, each filled with a pellet. The spindle whorl has a mid-grey patina. An incomplete lead alloy medieval pilgrim badge in the shape of a wheel, probably representing St Catherine. Four spokes radiate from a central hub. The rim is decorated on both sides with 12 pellets on each side. The edges are bevelled and the spokes have vertical grooves and a ridge on both sides. Overall, the diameter is 31.52mm, it is 3.83mm thick and weighs 11.01g. A similar wheel-shaped badge is descibed in record LON-6FABC6, in that case, the wheel had six spokes.
