A clipped and worn Medieval silver half-groat of Henry VII (1485-1509), minted at Canterbury, c. 1490-1500. Crowned bust facing within a double stranded multi-foil, all within an inner circle. Inscription illegible. Reverse shows long cross with three pellets in each inner quarter. CIVI/TAS/CAn/TOR. Outer part of flan with inscription is missing. The coin is 18.7mm in diameter and weighs 1.3g.
