A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman T-shaped brooch, dating to the period AD 50-150. The brooch is missing the pin and the majority of the bow, as well as the foot and the catchplate. What remains of the brooch measures 23.21mm in wingspan, 18.44mm in length, 2.20mm thick and weighs 3.15g.
The head consists of two tubular shape wings holding in place the copper alloy axis bar. At the centre of the head is a small slot for the insertion of the pin, now missing. From the centre of the head the body of the brooch projects, at approximately a 90 degrees angle, a rectangular shape bow. T…

A cast copper alloy vessel mount dating to Roman period (AD 43-410). The mount is complete and is a representation of the god Mercury, with head, shoulders and part of the chest. The reverse of the figurine is flat, allowing attachment of the mount to the vessel. The object is a light grey colour, indicative of high content of tin in the alloy.
