A complete cast copper alloy bar mount of medieval date, c. AD 1300-1400. The mount is a D-sectioned bar with a convex, hemispherical waist. The bar may be decorated with traverse bands, however the metal's surface is now very corroded obscuring possible detail. The arms of the bar taper to blunt points; one point appears to terminate in an old break. The bar's reverse is flat and undecorated, with no discernable traces of attachment holes or rivets.  Length: 23 mm, width: 9 mm, thickness: 3 mm and weight: 1.6 g.

It is sub-rectangular in plan, with rounded corners and sides which taper to the upper edge which terminates in a small curved knop. The object is made from two thin sheets which are connected by a circular copper alloy rivet which remains in the upper centre of the sheets. The metal's surface has a smooth, dark green patina. Length: 13 mm, width: 6 mm, thickness: 1.5 mm and weight 0.7 mm.
