A complete cast copper alloy bar mount of medieval date, c. AD 1300-1400. The mount is a D-sectioned bar with a convex, hemispherical waist. The bar may be decorated with traverse bands, however the metal's surface is now very corroded obscuring possible detail. The arms of the bar taper to blunt points; one point appears to terminate in an old break. A copper alloy disc with an inlaid silver eight pointed star. At the centre is a circular cell containing degraded enamel. Edges are regular. The back is flat and corroded, there are no obvious attachment points nor signs of adhesive. It is possible the object is part of a brooch, or possibly a game token. Probably post medieval in date, c. AD 1500 -1800 Diameter 17 mm, thickness 3.5 mm and weight 4.8 g
