A copper alloy knife terminal (end cap/pommel) dating to c. 16th Century. The end cap is zoomorphic in style and may imitate a heraldic design, in this case possibly a bear or a dog. The creature appears open mouthed with the tongue visible and a pronounced and upturned snout; the eyes are depicted by small circular recesses while the ears and hair or fur are depicted by incised lines on the top of the head and the creature's neck. The jawline is also delineated in this fashion. On the underside of the creature's neck are the remains of the iron tang of the knife, now broken off level…

Due to the coil being incomplete the pin is missing. The break of the coil is not a recent break. The first coil emerges from the tip of the bow. The bow is a 'C' shape in profile and is a pointed oval in plan which tapers at each terminal. In section the bow is semi-circular. The exterior of the bow, the convex face, is decorated with a pair of linear grooves either side of a raised thicker r…

A fragment of a bronze vessel or possibly waste from metal working. With pronounced file marks to one side of one edge. There are an additonal set of file marks at the bottom of the same side. There are no file marks on the other side. However there is what looks like the remains of a rivet or nodule on the back edge. At either end is a half circular hole or indent. The fragment is dark green in colour with a different colour bronze where the hole or nodule is. The file marks are the same colour as overall suggesting they are contemporary with the fragments creation.

A late Roman, open loop zoomorphic buckle with bird and beast/dragon appendages, dating to the period c. 350 - 500 AD.
