Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch of Bayley and Butcher 2004, Group C. The bow is decorated with three moulded horizontal ribs, the central one flanked by two lower thinner ones, as decoration at the top of the vertical portion of the bow. This moulding is on the outer face and occurs in lower profile on the inside of the bow . Below this decoration the bow tapers slightly, with what appears to be remnant cross hatched decoration on either outer edge, and is sub-triangular in section. A Middle Bronze Age blade fragment from either a rapier or dagger. It is probably a rapier as the thickness of the central rib consistent along its length though it does seem rather thin (3mm). The fragment is roughly lozenge / sub-diamond shaped in plan with the shorter (upper) end being shouldered. It is lenticular in cross-section with a rounded central ridge that runs along the full length of the fragment on both faces. The blade has been bent out of true by 30°, probably prior to deposition. A complete Post Medieval silver gilt dress pin with hollow-cast spherical head, c. 16th century AD. The pin has been drawn from a thick silver wire, measuring 3mm in diameter. The pin terminates with a break which appears to be recent.

The axe is broadly rectangular in plan with relatively straight sides which flare shallowly from the butt then more steeply from the stop ridge to the upper blade tips.
