 A complete pair of copper-alloy tweezers dating from the Roman period, circa AD 43-410. The tweezers are made from a single strip of copper alloy, folded over to form a a defined loop to the top of the tweezers. Both arms of the tweezers are broadly parallel and curve towards each other at the end. The end terminals are blunt. The object has a green coloured surface patina with abraded surfaces.
