An illegible copper alloy, Nuremberg jetton, of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1480 to AD 1750). The jetton is worn with worn edges. It is also pierced.  Obverse: Imperial orb within an arched tressure. Obverse inscription: [...] OT [...] Reverse: Rose surrounded by three crowns and three lis Reverse inscription: illegible The jetton measures 19.6 mm in diameter, 0.5 mm in thickness and it weighs 0.48 grams.

A Post Medieval copper alloy rose/orb jetton probably an issue of Jorg (George) Schultes (AD 1515-1559) dating to circa AD 1551-55. Minted in Nuremberg. The obverse depicts a rose with alternating crowns and fleurs-de-lys surrounding. The reverse depicts an Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double tressure of three arches. IOSV series of jettons, abbreviating the maker's name in the inscription and attributed to Jorg (George) Schultes. cf. Mitchiner (1988, nos. 1309-1317). A Post Medieval copper alloy Nuremberg Rose/Orb jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II, struck AD 1586 - 1635. The obverse depicts a central flower surrounded by alternating crowns and fleur-de-lys.
