A fragment of a Post-Medieval copper alloy crotal bell, dating to the 16th to 17th centuries. The fragment consists of part of the upper hemisphere of the bell and the suspension loop. The object is a convex piece of copper alloy that would have formed one half of a spherical shaped bell which usually had two holes connected by a slit in the lower half and the suspension loop on the upper half. A complete cast copper alloy toy miniature canon of late Post-Medieval date (17th-19th century). These models were produced as complete working models of their larger counterparts.The toy cannon is comprised of a circular barrel which tapers slightly in diameter from the cascabel button to the muzzle.
