This coin is struck from the same dies as a coin found in the Sacred Spring at Bath (Walker 1988, p. 322 & pl. XI, no. 23. A significant number of contemporary copies of dupondii of Antoninus Pius have been found in Britain, notably in the Sacred Spring at Bath (Walker 1988, p. 322, nos. 23-27).
